Trent Hindman
When did you start karting?
I began karting in 2004 when I was 8 years old at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ.
Every young driver as hopes and dreams to become just like a particular professional or non professional driver, who is that driver for you?
Mika Haikonnen is my favorite professional driver. I admire him and hope to someday have a career that is as successful as Mika’s was.
What is your favorite memory from karting?
My favorite memory from karting was my first WKA National victory in 2009 at South Bend. It was my second event since moving up from the Cadet class into Juniors. It was really special since I had the privilege of being coached by Conor Daly.
Do you have a nickname, if so what is it?
Yes, “the Hitman” is my nickname. Jamie Sieracki of Franklin Motorsports started it in 2008 when we were having great success in the STARS of Karting Series.
What form of racing do you aspire to?
Since I am now a part of the Road to Indy ladder system, I have my sights firmly set on a career in IndyCar.
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
I LOVE chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream!
