Alex Gamache
When did you start karting?
I started karting at F1 Boston, in October 2005, I was 9 years old. F1 Boston had a winter league that my parents signed up for; it was a lot of fun and very competitive. I raced indoors for three years and in the summer of 2008 my Mom and Dad thought that racing outdoors would be fun so they bought me a kart with a Rotax Junior on it. Look what they started!
Every young driver had hopes and dreams to become just like a particular professional or non professional driver, who is that driver for you?
Professional: Lyn St. James, she has driven just about every type of race car imaginable.
Non professional: Anyone that is faster than I am. I can learn from them both on and off the track.
What is your favorite memory from karting?
My favorite memory from karting would be doing endurance races with my family with Johan Schwartz's Endurance Karting series.
Do you have a nickname, if so what is it?
A-Gamache brings her A-Game!
What form of racing do you aspire to?
Indy or Formula 1
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

2010- Defending Champion in F1 outdoor 125 lap Rotax Ironman Race
2010- U.S. Rotax Max National Junior Points Standings 4th Place
2010- Northeast Regional Rotax Challenge Junior Rotax Champion
2010- F1 Outdoors Club Series Rotax Junior Champion
2010- 5th in first heat race at Rotax Grand Nationals
2009- Only female and first ever to win F1 outdoor 1st annual 125 lap Rotax Ironman Race
2009- 2nd in Rotax junior in the Northeast Regional Rotax Challenge Series
2009- 2nd in Rotax Junior in F1 Outdoors Club Series.
2007- 1st in 8 races of Johan Schwartz Endurance Karting, 6 top-3 finishes and Semi-pro champion
